We gathered with friends today for brunch and couldn't resist the photo op. We took so many snaps it felt like we were paparazzi.

Isaac had a few too many

We went out for brunch with Liann & Steve to a local pub this weekend and had a great time. Isaac got the ball rolling by insisting that he (i.e. Mom & Dad) buy the first of many rounds.

We're getting hitched!

What a Valentines Day surprise - Paddy popped the question tonight and got down on bended knee to ask me to be his wife. The answer? An emphatic "Yes!"

For now, I get to wear a giant piece of bling from Chinatown until we decide on a more permanent piece. I heart my ring, but most of all I love my man! Thanks for making me the happiest lady, sweetie!

Checking out the new ride

I headed out to Mississauga recently to pick up a jogging stroller for the Little Man. I think that Isaac is going to enjoy sitting upright and the (false) sense of control that the steering wheel may provide.

I'm looking forward to taking him out on the trails this summer (if I can actually find any in this city!) once warmer weather arrives.

The dreaded Ferberization of Isaac

It's been a tough few days lately as we've started trying to "help" Isaac sleep through the night. The last few nights have seen him fall asleep after 10 minutes and he's definitely sleeping for longer stretches now. Phew!

Fortunately, we've seen him wake up his normal smiling self so we don't think we're doing any irreparable harm.

Hopefully you won't remember any of this, but if you do, please forgive us, Isaac :-)

The new skill this week

Issac has started taking an interest in his toes. He's not to the point of putting them in his mouth yet but I am sure he will hit upon that idea soon.

It definitely took more than one shot to finally get one where his hand and shin were covering his little bits :-)

Here I am taking a break on the TTC during some downtime while carrying Isaac in the harness on our way out to the Danforth.

As much as Isaac loved getting tickled by my beard ...



... his beard pulling was becoming unbearable :-)
