Happy boy!

Isaac sure loves hanging out on his change table.





He is now grabbing for everything he feels. I'm starting to think that my beard might have to go...

hair starting to come in

You'll have to take my word for it, but as the dude who bathes him (nearly) each night, it's a safe bet: Isaac's hair has started to thicken!

That said, he's still miles behind his two girl cousins :-)

a new skill

All day Isaac has been practicing sticking out his tongue. While I admit it is impressive, I am not sure if we'll be adding it to his resume :-)

He seems to be onto something different every day now. What new found ability will tomorrow bring?

Not quite sure how this happened. Maybe it's time we get him out of Toronto to lessen the influence of the Leaf Nation :-)

4 months old!

Isaac is four months old today. He now weighs 17 lbs 7 oz and is 67.5 cm long. A growing boy!

Some of his latest tricks include squealing, supporting his on weight when standing (sort of), and rolling over (sort of). He's also started to use his hands to play (pictured above with a ball) but is not yet up to grasping for something. So much to practice.

Of course, there were two more vaccinations to deal with. Fortunately, Isaac had a much easier go of it this time. Two months until he's up for more :-(

self supporting

Isaac is getting stronger by the day and can now bear his own weight. He's still a little unsteady and wobbly and, by no means, are first steps even remotely close. That said, he enjoys it!

Pictured here, Isaac is demonstrating his new skill of standing up straight. Jen has him in a firm grip in case he falters. Come to think of it, her grip might be why he is standing up so straight.

So he can bear his weight. Good. How about starting to pull it next? Anyone know a garment factory that might be hiring?

one to grow into

Now that Isaac is a little longer in the tooth (but no teeth quite yet) he's starting to drool a fair bit. We finally realize why so many people gave us bibs early on :-)

It all adds up to a great way to keep in touch with my friends Jason, Pip, their 3 boys:

Chris - turned 5 this past August
Matt - turns 4 in February
Alex - turned 2 this past November

and their new baby girl (Congratulations!):

Ashley is now 8 weeks!
