Jen's only half listening due to a
toddler growing out of one ear

As with Isaac, we had midwives and we highly recommend their services. We definitely found the anecdote "You wait 45 minutes for 5 minutes with the doctor and you wait 5 minutes for 45 minutes with the midwife" to have the ring of truth to it. Here they are checking up on mom and baby after spending the previous night with the delivery. In the weeks to come there will be a series of home visits, after which point we start up with the pediatrician when Amelia is 2 months old or so.
